Game on National TV? Starting to panic a bit...

****. My Slingbox is attached to Dish.

What's that up on 9667? It says CU/UGA and I get that channel--it's not blocked.

Yeah, but it will be by game time. Dish really sucked the big one here.

so that's gonna be blocked. **** my life. Are you kidding me? What kind of service is that? This is the first live CU game I'll be able to watch this year and the slingbox I purchased for CU football, and teh expanded package I purchased for CU football, wasted. **** that. **** Dish. Those ****ers will never get another penny from me.

game is listed on channelsurfing.net for a backup plan.

What's the story with that? I'm at work, and when I followed the link to the CU/UGA game, about 20 "hi there" text boxes popped up from "SexyPrincess 69" in Grimbergen.

Is there a subscription or download that I require? I don't have administator rights on any of these computers.

Do I just click and watch??

am i missing something in Texas? Fox Sports is blocking because of the Rangers? I am sure Fox sports has a CONTRACT with the Rangers.... you still need DIRECTV so you wont get blocked....

Fox is blocking the game on all feeds to dishnetwork while the two throw turds at each other

Unbelievable!! An hour before the game starts Dish announces that they are in a contract dispute with FSN and Fox has locked them out of all sports broadcasts!! I had to run to my local sports bar to catch part of the game.

F'ing Dish!!!

Oddly enough, FSRM was blacked out right before the game came on, but then I just switched to one of the other Fox regionals. I'm watching on FSSW now.

So.... I ended up going to the CU watch party in Boston and met up with CostaRicaBuff... good to meet you kind sir. Although you said you were the ridiculously good looking fellow and I have to disagree... your girlfriend is lying to you.

Anyways... do we have the same issue this week?!? I thought we were supposed to be in FCS, but I guess we're on FSN? DB's!

Good to meet you as well although its clear you need to see an optometrist immediately. That said, Comcast has the game listed to show on channel 52 (CSN) here in the Boston area. If not, I'll be back at the Sports Grille!

The game is on FSN here locally in the great Pacific NW; meaning that I get the game in HD this week. If I don't post for a couple of days and we have been mudholed, it's just because I'm waiting for my eyes to stop bleeding.

I'm glad that Cali Buff and Costa Rica Buff were able to meet up in their home town of Boston...

Thanks Walrus... I wish I could say we rode off into the sunset, but he's a dude and I'm married. ha ha ha.

On another note, the game is now showing on Comcast Sports Net locally so I will be watching at home. Go Buffs!

I'm sure you got it, but I was simply pointing that your unique, regionally specific names didn't match the location of the rendez-vous.

I spoke to a programming director at Directv.... he said that FSRM blacked out their channel outside of Colorado as part of their dispute with dish network.... it was one more way of trying to show who is boss...

the game this week will NOT be blacked out because the game is outside Colorado.... all Fox sports will carry the game...

I am also glad Costa Rica and Cali were able to meet in Boston.... it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside...

I keep hearing about this Dish dispute with FSN, what is the story there? Is it only with FSRM? And how does DTV blacking out the game help them out?

The guy said it made no sense to block it out outside of the Rocky Mountain Region but they chose to do it. Any Directv customer who buys that channel also gets every other FSN channel.... so it made no sense.

Oh, so FSRM blocked it out, not DTV, gotcha. Yea, you figure anyone outside of Colorado who has FSRM also has the other Fox Sports regionals, so they probably only screwed a small amount of people by blacking it out.

ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis Blues fans who have the Dish Network satellite television package will not be able to watch today's season opener against the Philadelphia Flyers on Fox Sports Midwest.
According to a statement released by Fox Sports Midwest, Dish Network customers also will be unable to watch the Missouri-Colorado football game beginning at 6 p.m.
That game will be carried on a Fox Sports Midwest alternate channel. Blues pregame coverage, including the Brett Hull statue unveiling, begins at 6 p.m. on the regular Fox Sports Midwest channel.

Well, regionally speaking, St. Louis is a bit of an outlyer. While there's a few people in that area that might want to see a Colorado/Mizzou game it's not as if they're located in Missouri or anything. Oh...wait a minute...

I'm concerned too. My slingbox is located in KC. It's connected to a Dish receiver. FML.
