This game could be a tipping point for this season, either way.

    Just started watching.

Sounds like, after a tough (2-10 score) start, the Buffs stabilized and it's an 18-23 Mizzou lead at the end of a (high scoring) 1st quarter.

Huggins opened the 2nd with a trey, so Buffs are right in this. 23-21.

I don't watch a lot of WBB, but we look small and slow.

Buffs up 47-40 at the half after a 17-3 run to end the 2nd quarter!

They're 7-9 from 3 (I believe the announcers said they hit their last 6 in a row). At the end, looks like Kennedy Leonard thought her range was anything on the Buff's half of the court, as she nailed 3 in a row from quite a bit behind the line.

Huge 2nd quarter. They played some D and were knocking down a lot of shots.

Having to leave now, but looks like Buffs are down 76-71 with only a minute left.

Buffs had a tremendous second quarter and at one point in the third had a 10 point lead, but it slowly evaporated as their offense went south and Jamee once again was in foul trouble limiting her minutes - she played only 22 minutes.

Missouri had a lot of weapons and was hard to defend over long stretches. CU has hot and cold offensively but shot the ball well at 50% while MIzzou went to the line 12 more times than the Buffs which was the difference.

Not sure that Buffs can play much better other than Jamee staying out of foul trouble.

We are small and slow, in general. Brecca is by far the fastest player, but she is the shortest player.

I agree with Mark. This team can't play much better than they did today. Have to keep Jamee on the court, not the bench. Kept the turnovers down, but too many fouls, as usual. They have to learn how officials are calling the game and play that way. I don't understand why the coaches are not teaching the team this.

My friend says the officials pick on CU, but I don't agree. You have to go with the flow and it's up to the coaching staff to make sure the team understands this.

Small in the sense that Jamee starts at center when she is more of a stretch 4. Zoe Correal is 6-4, but she's still learning the game. Bri Watts isn't tall for a post, but she's not small either.

On the other hand they can be tall on the perimeter.

In terms of speed/athleticism, I think that it's more than just Brecca. Both Jamee and Alexis are very quick and athletic. And Kennedy isn't bad in this department.

It's clear that when Jamee gets in foul trouble it makes things much difficult for the team. And unfortunately she does get in foul trouble often.

We start 4 players above 6' and a PG thats 5'8, has a 6'2" wingspan and is second on the team in blocks. Swan. Robinson and Leonard are all fast for their positions. And all three are BIG TIME next level players. To win in the PAC 12 three things have to happen:
    1) Swan has to play 30+ minutes a game (stop the dumb fouls)
    2) Make layups\bunnies. We missed 5 in the second half
    3) limit turnovers. And it's not just the guards.

Bri Watts isn't small, but I don't see a lot of talent there either. Yes, Zoe Correal is taller, but she can't play the post by herself next year.

I was thinking a lack of size/strength more than height. again, I don't watch a lot, but the difference seemed pretty stark.

Not sure if I understand what you mean. We were definitely longer and more athletic but perhaps your referencing "bulk" not sure at all what the strength comment is based on

When we get to the Pac 12, look at the post players. Most will be the size of Bri, but be much more talented than Bri.

Yes, our players need more muscle, but start so small I don't know how they bulk up.
