I am sure the money would do great things for the school and the AD but being associated with UT or the state of Texas will just ruin it all.
If the Pac is willing to let UT tell them what to do before the invite is even offered up tells me that I don't want CU in that conference anyway. I am already pissed that Tech is involved and Okie State isn't all that impressive either. You know if UT or any schools from Texas are in this new Pac conference, they are going to eventually try and wrestle the championship game away from the Rose Bowl and put it in the new Walmart Bowl that Jerry built, not to mention the fact that Mile High will never get a chance to sniff that game.
It would suck to be playing in some crippled Big12 or hybrid MWAC but if it means not having to deal with Texas getting everything it wouldnt be all that bad. Plus maybe we can work out a better TV deal where more real CU fans can actually watch all the games.
