Sweet. Always have heard that Dickie V is one of the good guys and that the passion he displays for college hoops is genuine, not just schtick.

I hope this means he'll give us some love on ESPN this year.

One turns a blind eye to CU football and the other just has a blind eye.

That first photo is with Tom Abatemarco. Considering that Jimmy Valvano was Vitale's best friend and Abatemarco was one of the key guys on Jimmy V's staff, I would bet that there's a friendship there.

Got to speak with him briefly at a 4th of July party in Denver last night, he's in town to visit his sister. Real nice guy, is exactly like he seems on TV.

For whatever reason I can't stand Dickie V, which is why I feel like a damn hypocrite for being totally excited that he's touring campus today.

My elementary school gym and high school gym had fly aways. I just picture big time arenas with floor (i.e. movable) goals.
