BOULDER – The semester break is over, which means spring practice is underway for the University of Colorado lacrosse team as the Buffaloes returned to Kittredge Field this week to continue preparation for their second season as a varsity sport.

The Buffaloes, a member of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation have a solid foundation to build on after an impressive inaugural season. In 2014, Colorado posted an 11-8 overall record and finished tied for third in the MPSF standings with a 6-3 conference mark, as it was one of six teams to earn an MPSF Tournament bid.

The Buffs’ 2015 regular season opener is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 3 p.m. Colorado hosts conference opponent Denver at Kittredge Field as the Buffs will look to pick up its first win against the Pioneers.

Good luck to the lax team with their training.

Hoping to make the 1st game against DU if the schedule allows.

Next season should be a very good one for the Buffs. They had a good inaugural season and now everyone is a year more experienced and they should be a much improved team.
