I've noticed that during the games, usually none of the assistant coaches are at CP's side. My druthers, his O or D assistant coach would be next to him, depending on who had the ball. He brought in the best people he could. He should make use of them.

There are variations of this posted almost every week.

They all have headphones on. They don’t need to be standing next to each other.

Coach Mac was a classic example of letting his coaches do their thing. I remember him many times on the sidelines, no headset with his arms folded, pacing. It’s been a loooong time since we had a coach like that roaming the sidelines.

It took him years to get to that point! For the first 3-4 he was a control freak until someone, maybe Crowder, Told him to let them coach and take the headsets off.
