CU still has him listed as an LB, hasnt put on much weight since high school but 4.7 speed worries me a little at that spot. Any insights into how this kid has been progressing?

Supposedly he is playing great and they're really high on him.

This has me wondering about Rippy, though.

I've seen Rippy out on special teams but he seemed to have a really tough fall camp.

I always thought your nickel was a CB or a FS....why does CU keep putting it's LB's out in that spot? Is it more of a hybrid position or are we just that thin at DB with all the injuries?

All that means is that we're opening in more of a 3-4-3 look instead of a 3-3-5. Oklahoma doesn't air it out like Tech does, so our defense changes a bit.
