Sorry, newbies - I've always known it as the Foam Dome
The only nickname I've ever heard it called is the Foam Dome
"The Keg" is Coors Field.
"The Foam Doam" is the CEC.
Keg. Name is far superior to foam dome. Foam is ****ty. Kegs are awesome. The Keg is a good, strong name. Foam is something you get rid of. A keg is something that gives you delicious beer. **** the Foam Dome bull****. KEG!
and **** coors field. Its a ****ing field. The Keg looks like a Keg.
It was always referred to as the "Foam Dome" when I was going to CU in the early 1990's.
But I sort of like "the Keg" more.
The foam dome gets the foam finger.
The practice bubble looks more like a dome than the CEC bunker.
Honestly, I'd rather see if "The Bunker" caught on versus calling it the "Foam Dome".
keg is way cooler than the bunker, but the bunker is way, WAY cooler than Foam Dome. **** that name. that name speaks of soft ways and an old (hopefully gone) tradition of losing.
****ing foam dome.
rest of you dummies.... GTFOH.
One of these doesn't belong...
i voted foam dome. it's traditional.
that pic above makes the roof look like some shadow government, aliens colluding with the New World Order at DIA, hexagon shaped heliopad/Cent Com star chamber for the Shadow Government.
This German pill box is the architectural inspiration for the CEC.
Foam Dome. Easy. Seriously - who are these n00bs calling it The Keg?
It's no wonder a chrome dome goes for the foam dome.
these noobs just want to call the CEC something cool.
House of Billups.
I was at CU in the early 90s. Never called it foam dome. Coors is good enough. 2nd choice? The Bunker.
This was really funny. It truly is a depressing place on the outside. But then you [don't] read the [non] sign saying "Coors Event Center" and you think, DAMN at least there's frosty beer inside. But there isn't. Then you cry. Then the game starts.
Foam Dome, Where Pancho Hodges wore his socks long and Billy laid down the Law.
I will never call it the foam dome. That's ****ing retarded. It makes no sense and makes it sound *****.
It's been the foam dome since it opened in 79. I might be interested in Beer Bunker.
I've only known it as the foam dome. However that was back when you could still buy beer there.
Separate names with a comma.
