This is an open letter to the University of Colorado Admins.
I am not giving you another cent until Hawkins is fired and you bring in somebody who knows what the hell they are doing.
By not getting rid of Hawkins last November you have set this program back another 2-3 years. Do you not understand that having a good football program has a direct translation to donations and increased interest in your University.
It is beyond logic why you would allow him to remain in Boulder through the end of this year. In 3 weeks, you are going to recognize the 1990 National Championship Team in Folsom Field before we take on Georgia. It would be appropriate to relieve him of his duties before that ceremony takes place out of respect for that team, the University, and everyone who cares about this University and football program.
If you're worried about the buyout of Hawkins contract, get over it. We have private donors lined up to help with that. Don't use that as an excuse, because that's simply bull****.
