I could be aggy living in Collie Station.:afraid::afraid::afraid:
Looks very flat and lots of ugly concrete buildings that don't match.
wtf are you showing pictures of a pancake?
Thanks for the sobering reminder that life isn't so bad after all.
If you enjoy Soviet-style architecture, plus a healthy dose of cult activities, and not getting to watch cheerleaders, Collie Station is heaven.
And rabid ROTC sword-wielding freaks...
But their jack-boots are shiny.
Self-abuse is a small sacrifice in support of those Aggies.
I realize CU is in the Peoples Republic of Boulder but those young men and women in ROTC are likely going to the middle east when they graduate. They deserve more respect than this comment.
Oh, please. They give the military a bad name.
note how many nose bleed end zone seats there are, aggy=aggy.
Last stats I heard were less than 1/3 of all Corps members have any kind of military connection. I fully support those that do, but the vast majority just want to play dress up for 4 years.
CU also has ROTC, so ATM has hardly cornered the market on college kids serving their country. but, they act like they do.
Yep. I think ROTC is great. But the aTm Corps =/= ROTC
I'm a Commander in the U.S. Navy and a NROTC grad from CU, and feel that the corps is an embarrassment to the military. Even though there's some overlap it exists differently and separately. The embarrassing part is when folks link them as one in the same.
Those that go on to serve in the military after they leave the corps will have my respect for their service.
But while their in the corps, they're just a bunch of sword-wielding freaks.
exactly, my dad was an Army Ranger who went to Vanderbilt ROTC inna day. he thinks ATM is a pretend. it's not a military academy, there's a lot of dressing up.
aggy makes VMI look like a real military school.
guess I am guilty as charged - I thought they were all ROTC - neg rep me
