Tomorrow's a BIG day for both Buff bball teams, with the men hoping they don't some how get jobbed out of being selected with a (I'm assuming?) mid to high 20's NET ranking (they were #24 before today's loss), while the women are definitely in, but hope to get the opportunity to start their NCAA tournament at home for the 1st weekend as a #4 seed.
(Per this Brian Howell tweet, if both teams get selected, it will be only the 4th time both will be in their NCAA tourneys in the same season, and 1st time in 11 years. (EDIT - In case anything bad happens on the men's side, wanted to emphasize the below tweet was from before the loss to the Ducks.) -

Some basic info and links for the tourneys and tourney selection shows:
Men's (Selection show scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM MT on Sunday, 3/17/24):
Live video - The selection show is scheduled to be shown on CBS. For anyone with a subscription that includes access to that channel, I assume it will also be viewable on the CBS Sports app, Paramount + and/ or at https://www.ncaa.com/march-madness-live/event/901 .
Interactive bracket (Assume it will be filled in as bracket teams are announced.) - https://www.ncaa.com/march-madness-live/bracket
Article with general tournament information (Dates of the various rounds, hosting cities, etc.) - https://www.ncaa.com/news/basketbal...h-madness-mens-ncaa-tournament-schedule-dates
(In general, the tournament starts with 4 play-in games*** on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 19th and 20st. This is followed up with all 1st round games then scheduled to follow on Thursday and Friday, March 21st and 22nd, with the winners of those 1st round then facing off in 2nd round games on Saturday and Sunday, March 23rd-24th.
(***Assuming no change(s) from last year, the 4 play-in games consist of 4 each of the 6 named #11 and #16 seeds selected facing off against another team of the same seed, with 1 #11 and 1 #16 game held on both Tuesday and Wednesday.)
Various ranking/ rating links :
NET (As I type this, the Buffs are listed at #24, but the Saturday results, including the CU loss to Oregon, aren't yet included.) - https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1/ncaa-mens-basketball-net-rankings
Kenpom (Like NET, doesn't yet include Buff's (who are listed at #23) loss, but unlike NET did include most of the other games from Saturday.) - https://kenpom.com/index.php
Basketball’s Power Index (BPI, from ESPN. Has Buffs at #43 as I type this, also before the Oregon loss.) - https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/bpi
(Note - In prior years, it looks like Sagarin Ratings were also used by the committee but, as far as I can find, Mr. Sagarin didn't do his calculations this season for basketball.)
Women's (Selection show scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM MT on Sunday, 3/17/24):
Live video - The selection show is scheduled to be shown on ESPN. For anyone with a subscription that includes access to that channel, I assume it will also be viewable on the ESPN app and/ or at https://www.espn.com/watch/player/_/id/4cea50ad-a08b-4738-8c4f-2c1a5a09c6e1 . (If for any reason that specific link doesn't work, access to all ESPN streams can be found at https://www.espn.com/watch/ .)

Article with general tournament information (Dates of the various rounds, hosting cities, etc.) - https://www.ncaa.com/news/basketbal...s-womens-ncaa-tournament-schedule-dates-times
(For the women, it's a similar spaced schedule to the men, only everything begins 1 day later. The tournament starts with 4 play-in games*** on Wednesday and Thursday, March 20th and 21st. This is followed up with all 1st round games then scheduled to follow on Friday and Saturday, March 22nd and 23rd, and the winners of those 1st round then face off in 2nd round games held Sunday and Monday, March 24th-25th.
(***Assuming no change(s) from last year, the 4 play-in games consist of 4 each of the 6 named #11 and #16 seeds selected facing off against another team of the same seed, with 1 #11 and 1 #16 game held on both Wednesday and Thursday.)
Various ranking links :
NET (Unlike the men, believe most of the major women's conferences, including of course the Pac 12, had their conference tourneys LAST week. There are still 2 minor conferences that look to have their tourney championship games being played around noon today (Sunday), the Patriot and Northeast. As I type this, the Buffs are listed at #16 in the NET.) - https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-women/d1/ncaa-womens-basketball-net-rankings
(Be fun to see how much NET gets ignored / how important it is using one comparison. Although CU lost to them 3 times, and are ranked below them in the media and coaches' polls, Oregon State is still one place behind the Buffs in NET. As I type this, ESPN's bracketology have the Beavers as a #3 seed.)
Note - As far as I could find, NET is the only mathematical ranking/ rating used in the women's tourney selection process.
