Figured I'd start this thread now as the 1st news has been released, the announcement of which Buffs will be competing in what events at next week's Western region preliminaries (prelims, in that well-known western hub of Fayetteville, Arkansas, (I'll probably put the actual announcement news in a separate post so as to keep this initial post for links to the Championship preliminaries and, eventually, finals.)
Go Buffs to the 29 student-athletes accepted to compete at the preliminaries!!!

(Aw with the prelims, Like for the Championship finals the last few years, days are broken down by gender, with Wednesday and Friday being when all men's events are competed, while Thursday and Saturday are women's days. (Only exception to this is that multi-events must by rule be competed in back to back days, so the men's decathlon is Wednesday and Thursday, while the women's heptathlon is Friday and Saturday.)
In general:
Wednesday - Men's day #1. Field events begin at 3:00 PM MT, while racing on the track begins at 5:32 PM MT. (Decathlon (no Buffs involved) also begins at 1:30 PM MT.)
Thursday - Women's day #1. Field events begin at 4:00 PM MT, while racing on the track begins at 6:32 PM MT. (Decathlon (no Buffs involved) also begins at 12:30 PM MT.)

"
* All broadcast times and networks are subject to change.
"
***The USTFCCCA announced via a tweet on 6/7 that Wednesday's main coverage has been moved to ESPN2.
In addition, it looks like, per the ESPN app, that there will be individual feeds for each field and multi-event provided (through ESPN3). Edit - See post #32 for the complete scheduled individual event coverage (including links).
Edit - Wanted to add that earning All-American status in track and field is very much a meritocracy, with honors purely based on how one finishes in the Championships. The top 8 Finishers in every event in Eugene will automatically be named 1st team All-Americans, the next 8 are 2nd Team and the remaining 8 in Eugene are named Honorable Mention.
