It works when you have the better athletes. There has to be real plays to run when you're even or overmatched.

Most things work when you have the better athletes. I think Chev issues so much of it to avoid putting pressure on our below average OL, but it will NEVER work against a team like SC or UW (or Oregon).

I had this one figured as a loss coming into the season and still did despite the 5-0 start.

This is exactly what we didn’t want to happen. And USC ain’t good enough that it had to be this way. Drives me nuts that they came in nervous and sloppy, now they’ve got swagger in their step and playing around with us again.

UW is not that good, my friend. Oregon isn't some world beater.

There’s a reason USC is winning while playing like ****, they have better athletes. So does Washington and Oregon. Oregon might not be a world beater but we cannot matchup against these teams at the top of the PAC. We’ve seen this for 3 years now.

Even getting beat deep a few times, this defense has absolutely played well enough to win this game. Unfortunate we've put up such an awful offensive performance.
