Muffed punt was a freshman making a stupid play to save yards after he failed to catch the ball like he was supposed to. I have no idea what Montez was thinking with that shovel pass.
 
Playing good football, but the worst thing to happen was the 2nd play call of the game!!! Fontenot runs up the gut for 12 yards, and instead of re-running the same play, Johnson just went to Script Play #2 and threw that halfback pass into the flat on 1st down. Technically that is off-script because he expected to get between 0-5 yards on the first play. I agree that Montez is all we got, and we gotta hold them and then put some points, or this is gonna stay out of reach.
 
They’re really talking Utah up. I’m not going to say they’re not good but I’ll be completely honest here. If this was OSU I’d bet CU would be down 30+ right now.
