The CGA Match Play, the oldest continuously held statewide golf tournament in Colorado, will be contested for the 114th time next week.
The championship, played every year since 1901, is set for Monday through Friday (July 7-11), with Heritage at Westmoor in Westminster hosting the event for the first time.
University of Colorado golfer David Oraee will defend his title and will be the No. 1 seed at Heritage at Westmoor. Also entered is former Colorado State University golfer Parker Edens, also of Greeley, the runner-up in the Match Play each of the last two years.
