Other Games Thread - Week 1

Josh Perkins played the most minutes for Gonzaga (against a bunk team).

8pts, 6ast, 1reb, 1stl.

Saw this shared on deadspin with the caption: "RIP white guy from Southern Utah".

USC is going down. 70-60 Port St, 1:52 remaining. Bottom few in Pac12 are BAD. Only 1 game, but USC looks in for a long season. Portland St is middle of the road Big Sky.

Kentucky is ridiculous.

Sleep-walk 1st half performance to be down 38-35 to Buffalo at home.

Coach Cal must have asked them if they wanted to play some defense in the 2nd half, as UK outscored Buffalo 38-14 in the 2nd frame.

They're ridiculous. I hope we don't have to meet them until the national championship game in the Dance.

What you did there ..... I see it.

South Dakota giving Stanford all they can handle, 67-58 late in the game. (Stanford is up)

Harvard loses to Holy Cross and says goodbye to the Top 25. Wyoming had to battle with Northern Colorado at home. Larry Nance Jr. played and was the leafing scorer.

Nice to see DU get the opening win tonight.

Buffs benefit from the growth and strength of Front Range basketball. It gives opportunities to fill out the non-conference schedule without a ton of travel and also builds a culture that will lead to better prep basketball & recruits from the state.
