good to see ray polk rarin to go. I really hope he pushes for playing time.
Most definitely. He's going to get a lot of snaps at safety and there's a good chance he'll be our special teams MVP as a gunner on coverage teams, an edge rusher on FG and P block, and an occasional return man. I'm really excited to see him on the field this year.
Let's hope that fire and hunger gives us a 4-0 nonconf start going into Big XII play. I certainly think it's possible. I for one think CU will come away with a win in WVU. Afterwards, they need to stay away from bestiality freaks!
Ray Polk could be the sleeper this yr, have a big impact on this team......cant wait.....GO BUFFS!!!!!
If we go 4-0 in non conf, then Hawks 10 win goal is very realistic! I still say 3-1 in non conf, but 4-0 wouldn't be a shocker.
I hope he gets on the field, especially early in the season when we are punishing our OOC foes, but I don't know if he'll break out into a starter this year. He should have a great impact on STs though. I want his elite speed at safety, but I hope he has room to really grow and learn the position. Given the talent that Brown has produced at secondary I think he'll be a stud.
buffwings... a sunshine pumper?:wow:
What can I say, it's been a loooooong off season. Or maybe I think that because I can MNC after MNC on my Xbox the Buffs can really be that good?
Nah, I dont think we're going to be 10 and 2 but I DO think we have a legitimate chance at an 8 win season with a bowl win. 9 wins with a bowl win would be even better. :gobuffs: I hope Kiesau is a better OC than Hel****. I still dont think Hawk is great coach, but lets hope his staff makes up for it.
For nine months you called Helfrich "Hel****" and for some reason you now believe Grimes was our OC?
So here's the deal.
Our players have class.
Very little dispute here... none from me.
What's remarkable is that the reputation of the program, independent from our mad football skillz, has changed. The dark times are becoming a distant memory.
I would like to see this and see a winning season, as well, but have to give props to Coach Hawkins and his team of coaches and players for making "Colorado has players with class" a statement that rings true. That was not an easy task given the place from which he started this thing.
Good job. Seriously.
Yeah I meant Joe Montegna!!!
Sorry, just left Greenbough, AlaBAma so still thinking about that fool at Auburn.
OK I agree with that. There is a lot more CLASS at CU now. The PR is picking up, and we are still getting good players. Now we just to end up with some W's!
I think Hawkins had to do it this order. It was hard for all of us to remain positive and patient, but he had to get the right guys - classy AND talented in place.
Man, I would like to see nice guys finish first this time around.
Two movie references in one post, including a Waterboy quote. Beautiful and Rep worthy.
An 8-win regular season should be the minimum expectation going into this season.
