I am looking forward to attending for the second time after skipping last year. The games will be played in the new T-Mobile Arena which will seat more than they could at the MGM. Tickets are supposed to go on sale in a few days and the better seats will run $425 - $535 for all sessions. Does anyone know when CU will be asking season ticket holders if they want tickets, what section they would be in and how much they would cost?

Hoping that we have a strong presence this year.

I just got off the phone with the CU ticket office. They said they should be sending out information later this week to season ticket holders (likely Thursday or Friday). No information yet on sections/pricing.

I spoke with the ticket office today and they said that they should be sending out an email tomorrow, but that if you log into your account you can fill out an application now. Lower bowl (section 14) is $400 and upper bowl (section 222) is $340. The ConExpo is in Vegas the exact same time and is expected to draw 130,000 people to town so the hotel rates are a lot higher than last year. Does anyone know which hotel the teams are staying at? It was awesome last year to get off the elevator and bump into Bill Walton and see all the teams gambling at the MGM. We want to have that same type of atmosphere this year.

I am hearing the teams are at the monte carlo and the spirits squads are at the NYNY.

Thanks for the updates. Sounds like the CU fans will be seated together which didn't happen when I went 2 years ago to the MGM. Looking forward to the tournament.

FWIW I was at a corporate event at the T-Mobile center back in July, it's an awesome facility. I was sad to see it leave the MGM as it was nice to have everything under one roof. That being said the entrance to the T-Mobile is just steps outside of the Monte Carlo and a very short walk from the NYNY. While it's certainly bigger than the MGM arena, it's not huge, so there will still be a good atmosphere and won't be anything like having it at Staples. Plus the food is much better, there is a Pizza Forte and a Sake Shack in the arena.

Careful pre-gaming with sake. That **** creeps up on you.

I received the CU email today regarding ordering tickets. All-session prices are:
Lower Level (Section 14) $390
Upper Level (Section 222) $330
Booked my flights this morning so I just need to book the lodging. Deadline for ordering is 12/12. Hoping they make it to the finals.

During these conventions the casinos are desperate for players. Conventioneers don't spend much time playing so they jack up hotel rates to cover the loss of gaming revenue.

The hotels would much rather give a room away to someone that is going to spend some time gambling than take $300 from a conventioneer that is just gonna clog the buffet line.

If you plan to do any gambling, it's worth it to call a host at the hotel you are staying at to see how much play it would take to get RFB, or at least a partial reimbursement. You may be surprised how little it takes at some places.
