I have probably watched 20 CFB games so far this season. One of the things that I notice is that many or perhaps most QBs have a tremendous presence especially when they get a snap in the shotgun. The better ones I have watched get the snap and just stand there going through their progressions and then bam the ball is gone...maybe 2 or 3 seconds. (In the cases of CSU and Toledo QBs it was like 6 alligator) When I watch the Buffs it seems that Cody is running for his life even if there is no apparent (rush) threat. I guess my question is has he been beaten up so bad over the last couple of seasons that he is conditioned to just bail out or is the o-line simply not giving him the time he needs. What if Cody took the snap, just stood there, found an open receiver and threw the ball? Does he have to run around to find a lane? I am a bit puzzled by this.
