I know it is a long shot anyway but we seem to be talking about him a lot so ...I know he would bring a big name and the benefits that come with that but here are my concerns:
1) By all reports he doesn't like to recruit and we can see that he didn't do all that well in the last years bringing in talent in Denver
2) I see him as more of a system manager than a down in the guts coach. If we had a ton of experienced, well disciplined, talent here and just needed a new system he seems like he would be a better coach but we need coaches here that will teach people the footwork etc. I know he would have assistants but the new HC is gonna have to be in the mix driving that.
3) I have a friend that works in the Broncos business offices and she reports that Shanny had a real diva attitude around there, not interested in the details of running the program.
Does the name out weigh all of that?
