Colorado @ Oregon
Coming off of a nail-biting win at home, the Buffs faced a familiar Oregon team on the road. Colorado beat Oregon earlier this month by a whopping margin of 27 points and looked to repeat in a similar fashion. Unfortunately for the Buffs, that didn't happen as Oregon took the lead early and held on. Leading 32-26 heading into the half, the Ducks stifled any attempts the Buffs made to come back. The Buffs drew within two points later in the second half but quickly lost momentum after a six-point Oregon run. Tristan da Silva responded for the Buffs by dopping the next seven points and cutting the lead to one. This would be as close as the Buffs would get, as they couldn’t catch Oregon due to solid free throw shooting down the stretch. Oregon pushed the lead to a final score of 75-69.

High Performers
Tristan da Silva - Leading the Buffs with 23 points, da Silva shot an efficient 8-for-14 and 3-for-3 from three.
Nique Clifford - Nique Clifford was the other productive Buffalo as he had a career-high 17 points. He also drained three 3-pointers leading to a 7-for-11 night from the floor.

Colorado @ Oregon State
Outside of a clutch win at home against Washington State, the Buffs had lost four of their last five. Colorado had also fallen to 4-7 in conference play and 1-6 on the road. Having defeated the Beavers easily in Boulder earlier this month, the Buffs desperately needed to win the matchup on the road. The Buffs were able to grab a one-point lead heading into halftime but quickly lost it when Oregon State went on an 11-0 run in the second half. Tristan DaSilva kept the game close with a bucket to make it 53-49 late in the fourth but the Buffs failed to score in the closing minutes. The lone bucket in the final 3:28 came in the form of a Dasilva three, but the lack of offense proved insurmountable.

High Performers
Tristan da Silva - The junior forward lit it up from beyond the arc, hitting a career-high four three-pointers, leading to a solid 22-point performance. He also secured a career-high 15 rebounds in the Buffs’ losing effort. DaSilva also scored all 13 of the Buffs' points in the final seven minutes.

The Buffs need more from leading scorer KJ Simpson and sophomore Julian Hammond, as that is where most of their scoring comes from. The Buffs need to gain momentum fast as this is quickly looking to be a lost season.
