I used to give Ryan Miller crap for not playing as well as I had hoped during his time here. I just finished watching the CU CSU game focusing on Ryan. He didn't start well, his man made the first tackle and 2 of the first 3. Bleh.
But after that WWF move, he played some good football for the rest of that game. He was matched up 1-1 many times in pass situations. He was pulling and hitting people in space. He helped out his young tackle. I was actually surprised with how often we ran away from his side, but I guess that's good.
He had a couple of amazing blocks too. For example, in that last drive, the last 3rd down. It was 3rd and 2 from the 6. He got up on the off side ILB on about the 2 and drove him all the way to the BRONCOS letters in the endzone way away from the play. You could hear the pop and he probably drove that guy 5 yards straight backwards. Bad ass.
Good work Ryan. I take back many of the nasty things I've said about you in the past. Keep it up this week! Go Buffs!
