Saturday games thread

Cyler Miles now in for Washington. Wish Embree hadn't blown him off.

I'd never heard that. I thought he was a primary target. Failure to land, not failure to recruit hard. Did I miss or forget something on that one?

When does Mark Richt get back on the hotseat? I think I saw he's 1-10 in his the last 11 meetings against top 15 teams.

The good season last year probably bought him more time but a loss at home to South Carolina next week and will likely start the talk up again.

BTW, this Washington game didn't come out of nowhere. Most talented team they have had in a decade. They get Sefarian-Jenkins back next week too.

Shouldn't say blown off, Embree did go after him.

Heard that Miles wasn't overly impressed with JE (turns out he was right if that is the case.)

With the mass exodus of talent out of this state in the Embree years it's hard to keep track of who was ignored and who just said no.

A) FCS teams looking highly solid this week. No me gusta wrt Cent Ark v Buffs
2) Goff (Berkley) is starting to tear it up
d) UCLA...uh oh
4) stupid Auburn

Agree with this, I was also very impressed with what they did on the OL. Dominated the LOS almost the entire game.

G) mobile QBs are the deal. They have pretty much been the X-factor all weekend....

They should be looking at 4-0 now but then the reality check hits with at Stanford, Oregon, and at ASU. They'd be doing very good to go 1-2 in that stretch. But they should be able to get to 8 wins this year now with the win tonight.

That's a nasty stretch. Also visit UCLA later on in the season.

Stanford has it nice with Oregon, Washington, Arizona State and UCLA all at home.

Price can be good with any sort of protection because he has three legit receiving targets and a very good RB. If injuries hit the OL again, it could go south, but there is a lot to like about UDub.

Man, that targeting call on Cal was BS. I'm going to grow to hate this stupid rule.

Cal is beating themselves tonight. They're clearly the more talented team. Tons more speed than Northwestern.
