The defending national champion Colorado ski team slipped back into fourth place Friday, and with two events remaining in the NCAA Championships, the Buffs might be fighting for bride's maid honors.

I'll take 2nd as long as that means we finished ahead of Utah when this was supposed to be their year. Got to make up 27 points in 2 events. Definitely possible. Vermont's running away. No way they're giving up a 92 point lead over 2nd place Utah. Crown them now.
