So he may have been screwed by the All Big 12 selection, but at least he's on this prestigious list. Hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere, so here's the full list:

We haven't had anyone on the list since 2007 (Hugh Charles)... Go Speedy! Dude could be our all-time rusher by the end of the season.

Not unless he flashes another gear this year...

If he has a Darren Sproles type of year, yes. Otherwise, the odds are somewhat low.

Stats are only going to go so far. Sproles is in the NFL because he has an extra gear and he can be a weapon in the return game.

I could see Speedy getting a look real late or as an UDFA, but his lack of top end speed with his size is going to be a major drawback.

Maybe gets a shot late as stated above but I think Canada would suit him better. Agree on the Sproles points as well. Speedy is quick like Sproles but doesnt have that straight line speed. Sproles has both. Plus I still wanna see Speedy catch the ball more and improve in that area. Seen him fight the ball a few times but we havent exactly thrown him the ball very much either.
