BOULDER — The University of Colorado volleyball team will host a free youth clinic on Sunday, October 6, following the match against Pac-12 opponent Washington State. The match is set for a 12 p.m. start and will be televised live on the Pac-12 Network.
Youth in eighth grade and younger will be invited to stay after the match to have the opportunity to practice, play and interact with the CU volleyball team for about an hour. At the end of the clinic there will also be a chance to get autographs from the team.
The clinic will take place in the upper practice gym.
The Buffs are fresh off an amazing victory against the top-ranked Washington Huskies on Friday night. CU defeated UW 3-1 (25-17, 26-24, 15-25, 25-19) to hand the Huskies their first loss of the season. This was the second ranked opponent CU has defeated this season as the Buffs also upset the No. 11 UCLA Bruins on Sept. 27.
CU is currently 10-3 overall, 2-1 in the Pac-12. WSU is 14-2 (1-2 Pac-12) this season.
