StatSeed is StatSheet's postseason projections for all of Division I, including the NCAA Tournament, National Invitation Tournament (NIT), College Basketball Invitational (CBI), and the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT). Read more about how StatSeed is calculated.
StatSheet is now projecting Colorado to make the NCAA Tournament as a nine seed. The Buffaloes are unranked in the AP Poll and sit at #35 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 19-9 overall record and a 9-7 record in the Pac-12.
Over the last four games, Colorado registered wins against Stanford and Utah but also suffered losses to RPI #41 California and RPI #95 Arizona State.
Colorado is lukewarm against top competition, with a 10-8 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 4-4 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 2-2 record against AP ranked teams. The Buffaloes have four quality wins including AP #11 Arizona, AP #24 Oregon, RPI #41 California, and RPI #17 Colorado State. Their single bad loss came against RPI #182 Utah.
The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Southern Miss (22-7, 11-3 Conference USA, StatRank #37), Ole Miss (21-8, 10-6 SEC, StatRank #60), Boise State (20-8, 8-6 Mountain West, StatRank #40), and Saint Mary's (26-5, 14-2 West Coast, StatRank #39).
    The first four teams out are La Salle (20-7, 10-4 A-10, StatRank #48), St. John's (16-12, 8-8 Big East, StatRank #73), Temple (21-8, 9-5 A-10, StatRank #50), and Virginia (20-9, 10-6 ACC, StatRank #56).
    The next four out are Arkansas (18-11, 9-7 SEC, StatRank #71), California (20-9, 12-5 Pac-12, StatRank #41), Maryland (20-9, 8-8 ACC, StatRank #69), and Wichita State (24-7, 12-6 Missouri Valley, StatRank #43).
