BOULDER – The University of Colorado women’s tennis team looks to rebound this Friday and Sunday when it hosts the Grand Canyon schools this weekend.

Venues for the matches have yet to be determined. Please check www.CUBuffs.com where Friday and Sunday’s matches will be played, either at the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center or the South Campus Courts.

The nationally ranked Buffaloes remain No. 47, despite falling last week to No. 7 California and No. 10 Stanford by 7-0 and 6-1 scores, respectively. CU looks to defend the home court taking on No. 50 Arizona this Friday at 1:30 p.m. and No. 24 Arizona State on Sunday at 10 a.m.

Like I was saying in another thread, we have a real good chance at winning several of these next few games before facing the LA schools.

Just eavesdropping on others in the crowd at the match, hearing both normal Buff #1 and #2 single players out today, along with possibly another one or two players not at100%.

Hard to win with that situation.

Buffs couldn't quite compete today without their top 2 players. Hopefully they'll be able to play soon. (I was there for awhile, and at least a few of the matches were competitive today.)

ASU won the doubles point.

Normal #1 and 2 players for CU still not playing.
