Sorry if already posted somewhere, but I just saw this and had to laugh.

Sounds like it is the first time that the AAU has actually voted to remove a member....and they start with knu?

Wasn't their association with the AAU a big selling point in them joining the big 10+ at the time? i.e. a "better" fit

Even though this has already been posted, I see no reason for this to not be posted in a new thread every week.

I searched before posting, and couldn't find it. User error, I guess.

I would apologize, but I can't stop laughing.

What would really be hilarious is if the Big Tweleven kicked them out because of this and the BigTex told them to f*** off as well. Hello Mtn West conference. I seriously doubt the Big Ten would do that (as football rules the day), but imagine the hilarity.

I thought about that too. Maybe in a fit of trying to restore credibility in the wake of tOSU and their cheatin' ways, the Big 10/11/12 Presdients might make the niblets their sacrificial lamb and send them packing.....if they did.

you do have to wonder if the AAU booting had been done a year ago February, if it might have been a factor.

A lot of Big 10 members wanted Missouri, not Nebraska. This will definitely feed the fire.

Is the AAU trying to argue that there is no value in being the leading research institution for properly cooking meth and taping your kids to the wall?

The Big whatever won't kick the nubs out of the league, but this will be a black mark for the entire conference. No more moral superiority from them anymore.

I'd laugh my ass off if it happened, though.

so, does this officially confirm that fusker-u is the worst academic institution in the big ten-or-so?

i mean, it isn't like i had any doubts previously, but it is nice to see it confirmed for the whole world.

Missouri though is neither a leader or a legend...so they can't fit into the Big 10...

Leading purchasers of "Factory built housing" and legends in their own minds. But they don't have a stadium with soviet era architecture filled with tractor driving tobacco chewers.

The Big T-innumerant is going to have to choose between MicRib and Runza or academic research. The AAU already has.
