Joel Steed and Ted Johnson need to be in that list.
Brown should be higher in that list since it's based on NFL careers.
I would have Pritchard and Charles Johnson in there as well.
And Andre Gurode
all have had long NFL careers
Who was the CU running back who ended up a career backup for many years as an Indianapolis Colt ? He lasted longer in the NFL than I ever thought he would. Dang it... my mind is going. I can't remember his name.
Lamont Warren. He started the AFC Championship game for the Colts vs. Steelers.
that's him
needs to be added to the list
You don't like my list? Make your own freaking list!! :sad2:
Nah. This is allbuffs. We would rather morning QB yours.
Rae Carruth was awesome before the foot injury.
Byron White had a great professional career. Not professional football, however.
Is foot injury code for having fiance murdered?
You mean Leon White?
That would be Leon "Baby Bull" White.
Byron "Whizzer" White had an outstanding career too...
Oh, man what a screw up on my part.
You can see where the confusion might come from, given the similarity in their post-football careers.... :smile2:
Of course, the original argument stands. Byron White had a tremendous professional career, just not in professional football!
I'm such an idot.
1. Whizzer only played 3 years in the NFL prior to WWII, but he was all-pro in two of them... I think he's got to get the benefit of the doubt here as far as what he could have done given the opportunity.
2. I think we can all agree on your last point.... :smile2:
I always liked Rae. A foot injury sidelined him his 2nd year after he led all rookie WRs in catches & yards his first year. I've decided that will forever be the endpoint of my Carruth memory. I know not of which you speak. :wink2:
Yep - both pro 'raslers and judges work with sharks and vultures every day.
Some other notables:
Johnson , ted
Brian Cabral has a SB ring with da Bears.
Throw him on the list.
Barry Helton has a couple rings
Bo Matthews was a #2 overall
Separate names with a comma.
