Ok I actually thought they looked good and I didn’t mind the lack of gold. They reminded me a bit of Alabama or Oklahoma home unis - solid color helmet and jersey with white pants and no third color.

To be a stickler, the CU logo on the neck was gold.

When I was watching highlights for the 47th time, I saw this post and it really does remind of the black and white falcons unis. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the inspo

I wonder if they wore basic black jerseys with white lettering (no gold) and white pants as some sort of jab at the "nebraska blackshirts"? Our defense looked a lot better today...I think we'll see more gold against CSU.

After seeing them in pictures and videos close up, they are much better looking than my initial thoughts in person. The gold CU logo on the chest was actually a small but nice detail.
