i never liked woelk. he always seemed more like a fanboy than an actual reporter
He's a major-cool dude. He covered the Broncos when I worked there in the 80s, and he is cool.
Quit sucking up to your buddies BB.:smile2:
You are surprised by this because?
The only person Woelk has ever been tough on was Patton..
Not surprised, just found it funny that Mike and Sandy made him out to be the most realistic follower of the Buffs in the media out there.
Also, in case anyone cares, a caller did mention Dave Logan as the next CU head coach.
Yeah, I got in on the Internet.. Dave Logan was a GREAT WR in the NFL according to Clough... He was up there with Jerry Rice..
Yeah, lets learn the wishbone.... HAHA, my God sportstalk is so bad in Denver..
His article yesterday was hardly soft.
It wasn't as tough as Kiszla's..
You mean besides Tharp ... and eventually Barnett?
He called the Athletic Department under Tharp and the CU administration that put up with him "the fools on the Hill."
OH please, He was behind Barnett about 90%, lets not kid ourselves.. It wasn't until the end where we said it was time to move on..
Any fool could see Tharp and Hoffman were morons.. If you want to give him props for that be my guest.
So you acknowledge that your previous statement ("The only person Woelk has ever been tough on was Patton") was incorrect? :smile2:
bad wording.. I should have said CONSISTENTLY been tough on Patton..
Funny, he had a lot to say in his piece on sunday yet when he gets a shot on the radio he loses his onions.
