meh, not a great fit IMO. I really think they should go after Florida state
The ACC is locked down, FSU isn't going anywhere.
WVa has great fans. They travel very well to away games. They would fit just fine in the SEC. Probably are the equivalent to Arkansas.
What I find interesting about the article is the talk about a 16 team SEC. If that happens the ACC goes to 16 and then I would find it interesting to see what the Big 10 would do. Whatever they do the PAC ends up doing.
We are rednecks not hillbillies. I have been to Colorado before and didn't feel like the state IQ really took a hit when I was there.

Reminds me of the poker saying... If you can't spot the fish at the table, you are the fish.If you can't spot the drag on the IQ level, it's probably you.

That is a load of crap! Boca Raton, Oxford, Fayetteville, and Tuscaloosa are all beautiful college towns as is Lawrence, Kansas which is alot like Boulder minus the mountains in the background. Sour grapes on your part - CU doesn't travel worth a $(!t. I live in the KC area and when I went to Columbia, Lawrence, and Manhattan for CU games there were maybe 100 CU fans. Mostly friends and families of the players.Anybody ever notice the direct correlation between "great" fanbases and the ****** places they live? The fans aren't anything special they just happen to be looking for any good reason to get out of Dodge for a while.
Stop being so midwestern centric. CU doesn't travel worth a **** to ****** places in the midwest, fact. There were a fair amount of us in Columbus though. That is a load of crap! How many road games do you think the average CU fan makes?Stop being so midwestern centric. CU doesn't travel worth a **** to ****** places in the midwest, fact. There were a fair amount of us in Columbus though.
fify. don't forget to capitalize it. Ahh teets, so sorry to insult your area. And didn't you declare Minnesota to be something othre than Midwest? Or was I drinking too much?for being such an open minded liberal, you sure do label people and their place of habitat, FACT.
:nod:I love it when folks from crappy places tell us that CU fans don't travel well. I could swear I saw a solid 2-3,000 people in Honolulu. Wonder how many CU fans I'll see in Palo Alto. 5,000? More?
Yeah, we don't travel well. Right. Maybe we don't travel well to places that suck.
Not a lot in the big 12 days. But that # is about to go through the roof thanks to the 12pac.How many road games do you think the average CU fan makes?

And I'm not open minded about places. Ohio sucked balls. I've been to kansas, it sucks balls. As far as places to live in, I'm spoiled as ****. And besides a football game, name one ****ing reason to go to the schools/towns that guy listed?
Oh agreed, it sucks we don't travel well to ****** places. But to say CU fans don't travel well as a blanket statement is simply false, as you well know.no, i said minnesota was nothing like ohio, which is true.
there is not one reason to travel to manhattan, kansas other than a football game. still pathetic we could only muster 100 fans to attend.

When I went to CU everybody I knew was from the east or west coast. I know for a fact that we have a large alumni base in California. How many of those 5,000 will be traveling from Colorado? I agree, if you are going to spend money - go to Palo Alto instead of Lincoln.I love it when folks from crappy places tell us that CU fans don't travel well.
