Zona hires Joe Salave'a to replace Tui.

    He's a total Zona guy. Went there. Had his NFL career. Got into coaching with his ex-AZ coach Dick Tomey at SJSU for a couple years. Doesn't look like he worked in 2010 when SJSU moved on from Tomey (2-10 season in '09 ended things there).

    It's going to take him a while before he's able to go toe to toe with Tui and Cabral or some of the other Pac-12 coaches who recruit Poly (i.e., Joe Seumalo at Oregon State, Kennedy Pola at USC, Kalani Sitake at Utah, and Tosh Lupoi at Cal).

    on the surface it looks like a race based hire

    But you could argue Tui might have been as well.....now he has a good track record but I am sure his recruiting area had nothing to do with it :smile2:

    Yeah, but Cabral and Tui, it is two vs one which makes CU recruiting fun.
