Taylor had a big sophomore season with over 1,500 yards rushing. Katy is located in the greater Houston area and is one of the true powerhouse programs in Texas, winning four state titles at the 5A level since 2000, as well as finishing runner-up twice in that timeframe. This is a school where we want to have solid relationships. He is ranked #88 on the 2013 Orangebloods list.

Scout has some film on him. Not the fastest player, but he has great vision. Hopefully getting in early will help us here.

Katy is outside of Houston and gets kids that might not play at a bigger Houston school - always has lots of talent, well coached and Big Al has the connection there

Texas 5A "Team of the Decade" with 4 state championships from 2000-08. Likely has facilities and fan support rivaling some Division II college programs.

This year's team is currently undefeated most impressive to me is the smallest margin of victory they've had is 31 points (twice). Adam and his team's next game is Friday in the second round of the playoffs. Just beat Vince Young's alma mater 63-7 in first round game last week.

According to buffscoop's front page (free of charge) Adam Taylor is expected to take an unofficial here very soon with his mom. Lets hope that EB can drop a couple names and at least get Adam thinking about an official sometime next year. Everyone is going to be after this kid though.

Adam had a season-ending knee injury early on. I hope he recovers to 100% for next year and buys what EB and our Texas recruiters are pitching to him.

mitch - I'll neg rep you into next week if you are wrong.

WOOT - maybe this staff can finally start recruiting the way they were supposed to.

This would put a whole new slant on this class.

This is a guy who would give us some credibility with some other recruits.

Well it's not being reported by anyone so I think mitch is jumping the gun a lot. There was one post on 247 but not by the insider.
