Do we know why he's transferring?

I don't know details. But a change in his Offensive Coordinator along with his WR Coach/Recruiting Coordinator who recruited him (B. Kennedy) would understandably be enough to make a player unhappy and feel like he wasn't in a good place with the politics of playing time.

Super talent. Would absolutely love to hear that he's coming to CU.

I refuse to go over there...but what is Orange Doosh (aka Bloods) saying?

Davis is hated, apparently, by the Horn faithful. Lazy head case, supposedly.

Remember where the new OC came from. We've seen 1st hand how a lot of super talented players don't exactly respond well to the "Boise way".

Standard response to anyone who has the poor manners to not think Texas is heaven on earth. They said the same stuff about Wood IIRC.

That article also says that there are whispers '12 WR Thomas Johnson is looking around and that Davis is an influence. Any way Davis is also steering Johnson to the Buffs? It shows a CU offer on Johnson's rivals page. Do you think Kennedy is still in contact?

Gone are the days of Hawkins ignoring Texas.

Texans are good at recognizing BS, they have plenty of it and many spread it themselves.

They simply looked, smelled, and Hawkins had little chance down there.

I am not a Texan, but I impressed with your keen sense. Although, you give Texans too much credit. Rarely do they look and smell. They simply shoot from the hip....

Sounds like a good enough reason to at least get an AB profile updated so we can speculate the **** out of it. :smile2:

Exactly. I expect UT to spiral downward with the lunchpail mentality their new OC is likely foisting on the stable of talented UT players.

If (and this is a pretty big if) PRich has a big year and decides to leave early, Davis would be a very welcome addition to the wr mix. I'm impressed with Kennedy and I think he could get Davis productive.

PRich and Davis terrorizing defenses together along with Jeff Thomas, Gerald Thomas, Peyton Williams sounds better, IMO. Maybe throw Thomas Johnson in there too, just for good measure.

Prich isn't a first two round talent. Guy is good, but we think he's megatron given that we've had sprague type wrs for a while. By his senior year he may develop into a third rounder.

Guys like Davis will help that perception of what a complete wr is, assuming he has his head on right.

Please note that I'm not bashing Prich. I do like the guy, but he is a bit tiny and hasn't made the AJ Green type of plays that guys his size have to make to be a top 10 pick.
