Safety prospect. Brother starts at Safety for Stanford.

'13 CA ATH/S Kenneth Olugbode (Verbal to Colorado)

Mixed feelings... 4.85 for a safety?

I like this pickup, looks like a good OLB prospect. Won't put too much stock in the 40 time that is been reported. Doesn't play like a 4.8 40 guy.

Couple of these guys coming out of the woodworks here at the last minute. But I'll take him-especially for LB. Like that his bro plays for Stanford-must have some good genes.

I guess I was under the impression that we were basically full before the new staff even came aboard.

I have said we are basically full for a week now, but this kid, and I believe 2 others are on board, but not yet public. HCMM stated 17 and we are at 16 counting Reed, whom may not be included since he is on campus.

I think he looks pretty good on tape. We need safeties that have muscle with tackling ability. Didn't look slow to me on tape (half his highlights are in slo-mo).

Well... I guess he looks like Jimmy Smith. I didn't see any legit speed to suggest he could play in the secondary, so hopefully he can grow into an LB

His brother is at Stanford as I mentioned and there was an article that he was stuggling early this season with a wrist/hand injury and had wowed everyone in spring ball in 2012. Looking at his rivals profile, appears the kid didn't really have an offer and wasn't listed as their signing class for 2010.... Not sure if he walked on or what.

Let's hope that "being a diamond in the rough is genetic!

I went ahead and added a couple offers and the ESPN page to his profile. I also re-labeled as an OLB since that's how 3/4 services had him.

Also - here are his junior season highlights:
