There's still a (somewhat decent) chance for roster attrition, but as of right now, this is what we're looking at for next year.

Games Scheduled:

Kansas on December 7th (in Boulder)
Arkansas State (in Boulder) - from chat with Thorburn
"2 other small schools (in Boulder)" - from chat with Thorburn (the CBS Global Sports Main Event November 8-22)
  • Tennessee Martin - now confirmed 5/2 edit
  • Jackson State - now confirmed 5/2 edit
Wyoming (in Boulder) - from chat with Thorburn
Oklahoma State (in Las Vegas on December 20th) - 5/8 edit
Baylor on November 8th (in Dallas)

Possible games:

Fresno State (in Boulder) - do we have another year on this contract?
Colorado State (in Ft Collins)
Air Force (in Colorado Springs)

True. Honestly, any of our guards could be listed at PG or SG. And Jenkins could be a SG too. This team is versatile.

The coaching staff routinely refers to Dre as a guard as well. Positions bear no meaning on this team.

George King and Dominique Collier have been added.

It's been a good week. :smile2:

It would seem that up to two of the true freshmen would be wise to redshirt this season given the numbers and talent in the class. My guess is that King and Hopkins won't be redshirting given their talents.

I agree, I just don't know who. King is a possibility but seeing any of Hopkins, Fletcher, or Thomas redshirting is tough. All are very talented and will help us immensely off the bench. These are great problems to have.

I was discussing this with some people last week, and I really think one of Thomas or Fletcher is going to redshirt this year. There's a bit of a log jam at that position, so I think one of them may decide to wait a year. But, like you said, this is a great problem to have.

I know people are excited about Fletcher's Scout and ESPN ratings, but he's the hardest kid for me to find a clear path to playing time. He's sort of a jack-of-all-trades type of player who is good, but not great, across the board. If everything comes together for him, he could take that 5th starter spot, but otherwise I'm not sure what role he fills. Hopkins adds size and athleticism to the backcourt, King is the athletic wing, and Thomas is the shooter. Those all have the potential to be areas of need next year. Fletcher could easily blend on with the crowd though. He's just a complete wildcard for me in terms of his role next year.

Yeah. But Fletch may fill the role of "scorer". Just like Alec, he could come in and efficiently put up 15+ a game.

Yep. That wouldn't surprise me either. I really think he'll challenge for a starting spot, but if he gets beat out or just isn't ready yet, it gets interesting. I can't wait to see how this all plays out. #isitnovemberyet

I did read an article on a "certain" website that Dustin Thomas said that he wasn't going to red-shirt that the coaches want him to come in and do his thing.

The only others we know are @AFA and @CSU (dates TBD), right?

There is some speculation that UCSB (UC Santa Barbara) will be playing at the Coors Event center. Anybody have confirmation on that?

We better destroy Wyoming. They don't have Martinez or that 40 year old guy Lenord Washington anymore. I'm sick of losing to them!

Selfishly, I'm hoping that's a road game if we're playing them. I'd drive up the coast for that one.
