Bohn Gone (Official Thread on His Departure)

Consider me extremely concerned... This screams of panic. If this was going to happen, should have occurred when HaLk was gone, or when Bohn failed to get his coach.

Agree. At present, I don't understand this move at all. Hopefully some details come out that allow us to make sense of this move.
 
Mike Bohn has resigned as the athletic director at the University of Colorado, school spokesman Bronson Hilliard confirmed Tuesday. Hilliard said chancellor Phil DiStefano has accepted Bohn's resignation.

Would a big check from a certain donor that has been holding out for months help you make sense of this move?
 
I would have understood and been onboard last fall - but right now....it is just crazy to me.

Hope we go hire an AD that knows big boy sports and big institutions.
 
I'll be happier when I understand the reasoning. Absolutely has to be fund-raising related, involving Solich.

I talked to my high-level donor a few hours ago and he had no information whatsoever. He also is not tied into the new facility fundraising so much as they have been all-in in terms of their commitments for some time elsewhere in the program. They aren't part of the "new money" being chased I guess.... But the story will come out soon enough.

Sunk Cost. Look at the disaster it was to keep Hawk another year. You can't hold onto guys at these types of positions if you have no faith in them.

I wonder if Bohn was starting to grow a spine. Can't possibly let that kind of thing go unchecked.
