Other games this week 9/13-9/14

:wtf::lol::rofl::wow:

The ending to the ASU game was CLASSIC.

What the **** were those officials doing? How do you not at least stop the clock when ASsU dives back on the dead ball?

That is some serious ****ing bull****. I'm guessing they were Pac-12 officials... :rolling_eyes:

I thought Wisc. Qb was going to tackle the refs as they were running off the field. I don't even understand what happened.

While the refs needed to spot the ball and allow Wisconsin to spike it, you also have to wonder about Wisconsin's clock management as they obsessively placed the ball, just so, for their kicker. Poor.

It's a fumble, neither his knee or elbow was down. The refs were idiots for not signalling a fumble and incorrectly called the play a kneel down.

He definitely took a knee. He took it with about 16 seconds left. He even put the ball down to help the officials out. It shouldn't take 16 seconds to spot the ball.

Nvm, this does look like he took a knee.

Why didn't the Wiscy players start trying to line up immediately ? Some of the players acted like they thought the clock had stopped.

I thought it was a fumble at first too. I think that's what the ASU team thought too as well which is why they jumped on it. The refs didn't stop play and/or spot the ball again. It was definitely a delay of game penalty.

Stave is a terrible QB. He made a lot of bad throws all game and Wiscy is overrated. I'm glad to see the ASU O isn't as potent as I originally thought.

Maybe it was a make up call for missing the call when the WR took two steps on the sideline with about a minute left.

I don't quite understand why you just don't kick it there without any timeouts.

I think I remember the announcers saying Wisconsin's kicker is a bit shaky. He was 1/1 on fg's tonight (made from 34) but that does stick in my mind. Might have had something to do with it, whether it be positioning or a few extra yards.

It's really embarrassing. This has happened in enough games involving the Pac and OOC opponents that it's hardly some dirty secret that just we Pac schools know of. UVA got a classic Pac screwjob at USC a couple years ago that cost them the game, among many of the instances out there. It's bad when I look on the "Carolina Mafia" of ACC country being solid in comparison.

So, of the 64 major programs (5 major conferences + Notre Dame and BYU) there are just 28 remaining undefeated :thumbsup:
