'14 CA QB Cade Apsay (Signed to COLORADO)

General question here. In the Rivals ranking, what does "5.5rr" mean? I know that the higher the better. Right?

5.5 is the low end 3* rating.

2* - 5.2, 5.3, 5.4
3* - 5.5, 5.6, 5.7
4* - 5.8, 5.9, 6.0
5* - 6.1

26/41 347 yards passing for 3 TD's vs a top ranked Notre Dame HS team.

No complaints or red flags based on his senior year progression. Glad he's gonna be a Buff.

The only way that I look at recruiting is to a) look at the level of a kid's competition, and even more so, b) look at who else has offered him. The "stars" stuff is an add-on, but way back in the distance. The current CU roster is populated with lots of guys who didn't have big-time offers. It's telling.

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

Nate Solder was 5.6 per Rivals in 2006. A solid middle of the road 3* kind of guy.

And what about the plethora of 2* and 3* players CU has recruited over the past 5 years?

Thought so....

classic. I think I watched it about 50 time when I was 10 or 11, along with ferris beuller's day off. (recorded on the same VHS) sorry for the tangent

Holy ****. I can't believe it took me this long to realize this, but last year I went to one of his games. That was the high school I was supposed to go to before we moved back to Colorado when I was little. Dude is solid. Yea, that's about as much insight as I have

Guessing there won't be many live viewers, but if anyone would like to record Cade's game against Hart, it's on Foxsports west tonight at 730. Channel 692 I believe on DirecTV.

15-27 for 262 yards and 3 TD's in a W vs Hart (led by '15 recruits Brady White and Trent Irwin)
