KU has gone the Juco route all of a sudden. Charlie Weiss is really struggling with that program.

Charlie Weis is just a ****ty head coach

MM really needs to get creative with the JUCO ranks and find some OL who can play at this level and can clear CU admissions. Badly.

Great call looking at potential jucos at Oline, Perhaps our biggest obstacle to future success. I'd hope solid jucos would be lining up to start here and make an impact.

Linemen are usually the smartest players outside of qb, right? So more chance qualify? :)

We are certainly in desperate need of help on the OL. Would love to get me some Jucos.

Don't think we are going to see M2 go the JUCO route very much for a number of reasons including the fact that they are just to hard to find with the transcripts to get into CU.

We certainly could use a few good select guys though to speed up our development. M2 knows this kid from recruiting him for SJSU and I'm sure has checked out how likely he is to be able to get enrolled.

The opportunity is certainly here for him to come in and make an early impact.

Anybody know what he has left for eligibility 3 to play 2, 2 to play 2,?

Apparently this guy has ties to Mac and/or his staff. Anyone know what that's about?

We REALLY need this guy...instant difference maker for us.

His highlight film is really impressive. He didn't just block he crushed his man. Reminds me of Asiata's film. If we could get him into CU next year that would really kick start our RTD

Honest question, how easy is it to transition from the right side of the line (where Haniteli plays mostly in his highlights) to the left side where presumably we would be looking at him? I know it varies from player to player, but in general how is that transition.

The transition is a heck of a lot smaller for guards compared to tackles.

As J.R. said, as long as Haniteli is playing guard I don't think it's much of an issue. There are some technique things with footwork or pivoting while throwing your elbow back from a different side in order to pull, but most guards pull both directions anyway since they get out on screens to their own side. Little harder with OTs with how they have to kick out and place hands to protect the edge. I think Haniteli would play guard for us.

If we get Louisi, he would play left guard. I believe Irwin would be our left tackle and Crabb would move to center. The right side would remain unchanged.

Ideally we get Louisi to be our LB and Au to be our LT. Crabb would be a huge upgrade at center. Irwin competes with Nembot for the RT job while being the #1 backup at LT.

We could also see a young guy step up at center and let Crabb play RG.

Munyer probably has the advantage to be the starting center, he has more experience than Crabb playing the position. I will like to get Au and Louisi

RT- Nembot
RG- Louisi
C- Munyer
LG- Crabb
LT- Au

I know that there's some "out of sight, out of mind" that naturally goes on, but don't forget about Jeromy Irwin.

If we can land a couple JUCOs, we'll actually have position battles and some depth on the OL.
