Creighton up 60-45 at #4 Villanova

Virginia up 51-36 on North Carolina

#17 Ohio State trails 34-27 to Nebraska in Lincoln

Ohio State, after being ranked #3 and 15-0 two weeks ago, is staring at their fourth loss in a row, down 34-25 at the half to Nebraska. Creighton is blitzing #4 Villanova by 18 in the second half. Virginia is up 15 on Carolina. What a Jeckyll and Hyde team (UVA).

Changed the thread title to Week 12. (I didn't have a chance to post a Week 11 thread.)

That Nebraska score is shocking if it holds up. OSU has been losing in B1G play, but to really good teams. This would knock them out of the Top 25 and make them very bubbly.

North Carolina is starting to look like an NIT team despite some of the great wins on its resume.

UVA has awoken. Expect the good UVA most of the way from here on out. They had issues managing depth but they've found the chemistry they needed. Very dangerous team that finishes top 4 ACC IMO. UNC, meanwhile, is in deep ****.

Ha, tar heels got rolled.

Nice shout-out for Tad by Bilas in the last few minutes of this one.

Yeah ... I caught just the tail end of that. Just curious ... how did they get on the subject of CU and the Pac 12 during an ACC game?

Watching #10 Iowa at #15 Michigan right now on BTN.

56-49 Michigan with 11:23 left.

2nd time I've watched a game at Michigan this year (Zona). Granted, big games, but this is one of the best atmospheres in college hoops that I've seen.

Michigan gets the win. They look good.

#13 UMass dropped a game at Richmond.

Bzdelik now has Wake 13-6 (3-3) with plenty of winnable a remaining and no bad losses.

Also. Georgia is killing lowly South Carolina. Dawgs are about to be 4-1 in the SEC.

Wake tops Notre Dame. Wake now 14-6 (4-3) with no bad losses. Putting themselves in discussion to Dance.

Syracuse struggles at Wake but gets the win to go to 20-0. This was Wake's first loss at home this season.

Might be a hell of a lot on the line for Cuse's visit to Charlottesville in a few weeks. This group of Hoos is not ****ing around, best ball I've seen them play since mid-90's over the past few weeks.

Wake still battling for postseason, fall to 14-7 (4-4)

Went to the VCU/Fordham game tonight, VCU is having a bit of a down year. The HAVOC D doesn't seem to be what it was before the new rules emphasis, they struggle to trap without fouling, Fordham was able to split the trap quite a bit. That being said one of the Fordham guards had 7 TO's, so maybe the HAVOC isn't that bad. Neither team could shoot, lots of fouls, not a great game to watch overall.

VCU is a lot like CU this year, they need transition opportunities to score, Fordham played zone against them, VCU struggled to get inside against it and took a lot of 3's and missed.

Yep Gameday, they're expecting a record at the Carrier Dome.

This past fall they talked about moving the court to the middle of the Dome for this game which would've enabled them to sell close to 50k seats but in the end the logistics just made it too difficult.

Yeah I remember that, one of the issues was about re-assigning seats for STHs. Still should be a great game.

Down yet still 17-4 (5-1). Speaking of A-10, St. Louis seems really good

17-4....tough problem to have when that's your down year. Watched a bit of St. Louis/Richmond in a bar after the VCU game, some people who knew much more about Richmond bball than me (not hard, I know nothing) seemed surprised the way St. louis handled them and were impressed.

Richmond is a tough team. Came in 14-6 and had beaten 3 very solid teams in Dayton, UMass and St. Joes. And then Saint Louis just toyed with them and won by 20. Saint Louis is 19-2 (6-0), but not getting the coverage they deserve because they came up just short losing to Wichita State and Wisconsin by a few points OOC. Not much in the way of quality wins, but they have chances to do down the stretch with VCU x2, UMass and a copule others. Not an expert on them, but seem to be the cream of the crop in the A-10.

I know you guys figured I've been exaggerating just how well Virginia is playing lately. Not a big BPI guy, but it's spot on here. If they win at Pitt on Sunday...a big if..., then it's time to legitimately consider they could win the ACC for the first time since 2007. 7 conference wins.. all by 12 or more.. and the only loss being by 4 at Duke in a game they gave away in the final seconds. Syracuse visits Virginia and UVA is done with Duke and UNC already and sitting alone in 2nd one game behind Cuse with Cuse about to face a Duke squad that has clicked.
