NCAA Tournament Day 3

Don't think we'd lose by any worse than we did to Pitt, to be honest. Pitt was an exceptionally bad match up, as we saw. I have never seen a team hound players out of the post like that. At one point they hounded Scott from under the basket almost all the way to half court.

That's going to be the blueprint for how to play CU. Tad better have an answer.

There could be another team but the only teams in the PAC 12 that can do that consistently like Pitt would be UCLA and the ***********

You can add the Billikens to the list of teams that can make us feel better about only scoring 18 in the first half. And Loo'ville didn't do much better. 25-16 at the half. :wow:

I don't know if UCLA can with the current roster (wear bros aren't super athletic). I think a team like Stanford or Oregon can.

Doubt Oregon could run it effectively with all their guards. They could make it difficult on the in-bound but they wouldn't have the size to effectively run it IMO. UCLA has a lot of length and size on the court combined with athleticism outside of the Wear twins. Not sure about Stanford, could probably be persuaded one way or the other.

Dayton up on mighty Syracuse 20-18 at the half. If the NCAA was trying to increase scoring with its rule changes/interpretations ... it ain't working.

What a crap day of games thus far. Not only anticlimactic, but match ups that are not particularly appealing.

The biggest reason for Cuse's struggles down the stretch was their lack of offense and it's even worse tonight. SU's top 4 scorers went 3 for 19 in the first half. Pretty ugly half so far on both sides.

Hoping Harvard-MSU will be dramatic ... Wisky and Dux too.

Wisconsin/Oregon is the most appealing of the day, although that speaks to how bad today's slate is more than anything. Would love to see Harvard surprise and give MSU a game.

Oh God ... I LOVE Charles Barkley!

"Why would you live there?" (meaning N. Dakota)

That's the truth, other than Cuse playing for me personally. I had very little interest in the first 2 games (we would've been the national game in that first one :bang:) and I thought UT-Michigan would be better but that never panned out. I also don't like how they only had 1 game on for the first 2 timeslots and then have the schedule back-loaded for the night games.

Did Ryan get a t for putting a foot on the court? If so, Dana should have 30 t's already

Two months ago I thought this was the best Syracuse team in years. Probably third in the nation behind Zona and Florida. How times change.
