Buffs lead and a commitment could be coming this summer.

Adam Gorney (Rivals):

"I want to wait a little longer," Matthews said. "I want to be committed before the beginning of my senior season. I just want a chance to go out and visit the (Colorado) campus. I still need to make sure I like the campus.

So that pretty much means he's a lock?

O or D if anybody had to guess?

I don't know if he's got the straight line speed to be a Pac-12 RB, so my guess is LB.

Of course, I look at the guys who have success in the NFL at RB and most of them are like Matthews -- low center of gravity backs with good burst and short area quickness. Could be that the coaches like him in the C Powell role.

CU,CSU, AFA, Wyo as his listed offers. Sounds like he wants to come to the Rocky Mountain front range. Does he have a background here?

Dunno but he's from the same area as Gillam

SIAP but CU cooled on him. He's on pace for a slightly worse SR year than JR year.
