I don't know if he's got the straight line speed to be a Pac-12 RB, so my guess is LB.

Of course, I look at the guys who have success in the NFL at RB and most of them are like Matthews -- low center of gravity backs with good burst and short area quickness. Could be that the coaches like him in the C Powell role.
 
CU,CSU, AFA, Wyo as his listed offers. Sounds like he wants to come to the Rocky Mountain front range. Does he have a background here?
