McConnell averaged 11.4ppg at Duquesne and it drops to 8.4 at Arizona. Great development there.

wait was this post sarcasm?
Yeah because the PAC-12 is comparable to whatever piss poor conference Duquesne is in... Must suck that you think so little of him yet he is considered one of the best PGs in the nation and certainly the best in the conference.

Why would that suck for him?

Quoted to show Arizona fans general lack of basketball knowledge.

You would think that a true fan would know the playing background of their players.

There is literally no one who considers TJM the best point guard in the Pac-12. That list starts and ends with Delon Wright. McConnell is probably 4th or 5th.

Interesting... National Pundits disagree. Not sure if the internet search engine "Google" is available to you, but maybe you should try it out.

Seriously, there have been articles on Espn stating he is one of the best pg's in the country. 4th or 5th in the PAC???

You really think ESPN knows what they are talking about when it comes to Pac 12 basketball?

McConnell is nowhere near Delon Wright's level.

Delon Wright might be the best damn player in the P12. I love that kid.

Interested to see the 3 or 4 point guards you put ahead of McConnell.

No, they don't. Most are picking either Wright or Randle. So, not sure where you're going with this. TJM is a very solid player, and fits a niche for Arizona very, very well. But to say he's considered as the best P12 PG isn't true.

Nigel Williams-Goss could be scary good too.

I think the first three are pretty clear, with spots 4, 5, 6 all pretty interchangable, especially if Wallace moves to full time PG.

1. Delon Wright
2. Chasson Randle
3. Joseph Young (Though I wouldn't argue you calling him a CG, but that's everyone these days)
4. TJ McConnell
5. Nigel Williams-Goss (though these two can be flipped either way)
6. Tyrone Wallace

I like the list. TJMC is just in the perfect situation. He's a good distributor and a heady player, poor mans Aaron Craft if you ask me.

Delon Wright is a straight Baller. Might be the best PG in the NCAA next year.

I can't stand watching Chasson Randle play. Something about his game puts me to sleep.

I'd have NWG at #3. Personal opinion, though. They're all good. The first 2 are great. I think NWG is the most likely to join the "great" camp this season.

Personally, I like TJ a LOT more than Craft. I love the kid. That said, I find myself agreeing with Will a bit. I may put McConnell over Young, but I think it depends on the makeup of the rest of my roster.

Now that I think about it a little more, they are pretty freaking similar. McConnell maybe a little shorter and not as strong, but has a better shot.

If you're willing to call Booker a PG--which I'm not, yet--he's probably right at 7, with an argument for number 6. If you're calling Talton, I might put him at 8 or 9.

The Dick ****** scrambled when the board demonstrated it could move beyond parochialism.

EDIT: Wait! Is "******" a bad word? I've seen what you've done, mods.

I like TJ too but think he really benefitted from having Nick Johnson. I kinda wonder what we would rate ski if he was PG the whole time and Spencer was the SG or whatever Tad calls it.

Cat fans really are insecure about everything.

You mention one of their players isn't the best at their respective position and they all come running over looking for a fight.
