Official 2014 Hawaii @ Colorado football game thread

Just saw Sefo drinking a bottle of Gatorade.

Anyone know if MM had to go buy that himself?

satisfied with the half thus far.... need to double the score and hold the rainbows to only two FGs

Sefo needs to take a breath and get composed. Rushing the big throws and missing opportunities. Other than that, looking good.

Really impressed with the defense so far.

Mark Johnson has been marvelling at how pissed Mike MacIntyre appears to be at one of the Irwins. Anyone who can watch the game who has a guess as to why?

Roll over and die? They ran out the clock and preserved a 15 point lead.

That's what I mean, why play to protect a 15 point lead against Hawaii in the first half? No reason at all not to try to score with almost 2 minutes left on the clock

not that we didn't leave a few points on the field, but recall Hawaii almost beat 2 pac teams.

He would rather they give up a turnover off a tipped pass deep in the zone, give up a TD, and only go in up by 8.

You have a 15 point lead and haven't given up a TD in the game. Playing smart isn't exactly rolling over and dieing.

Yes, running out the clock with 2 minutes left in the first half when you just made a first down is playing smart. The reason that none of the top teams do that is because they are stupid. I am onboard with this idea now

Let's run a QB sneak on 1st down while we'r e at it

No, you guys are right, not trying to score anymore in the first half makes a lot of sense, I see that now

I know right, we're not Oregon, but trying to score every time you have the ball and a reasonable amount of time doesn't seem like a bad strategy to me.

If we would've been playing the Ewes today we would've smoked them. Glad next years game is in week 3

Yeah, keep telling yourself that. CSU opens with Savannah St and then Minnesota at Hughes the week before next years RMS. CSU will be prepared.

Plus Hawaii is a contender for worst team in the Mountain West.
