Looks like Arkansas has the lead on this. SEC is a huge draw and CU is struggling right now!
All I am able to find is that he is a Arkansas target and has interest.Looks like Arkansas has the lead on this. SEC is a huge draw and CU is struggling right now!

SEC is struggling, too. Why would that be a draw?
They're using some of that football money on basketball now. They're not going to be a power, but they're going to be better next year. Kentucky will be great again. Florida should be better. Auburn is getting better. MSU hired a good coach. Bama hired a coach that might provide some bang. LSU is getting the #1 recruit in the nation.
That is a huge blow. Davis was being targeted as possibly the only CU signee for the class. This one stings. A lot.
We just haven't been able to replace Tom A. in the recruiting department. I never thought I'd have to say that.
Maybe the kid just wanted to go out of state?
Tad has been after him for a long ass time yes, but I'm glad he announced his top 3 so we can move onto other targets.
This. We lost the dorsey lottery because we were in the running late and had put all our eggs in that basket.
Cameron Satterwhite is an NBA talent. Possibly Tads next savior.
I love Tad...but this stretch of recruiting is worrisome to me. I hope he proves me wrong and some of the recent pickups end up being diamonds in the rough. In the meantime, he could use some quality assistants on the recruiting trail.
Exactly. If CU wanted Davis (and all indications are that we did -- very much), the fault on not even making his Top 3 lies with CU's recruiting... not with Davis. Buffs failed on this one despite recruiting him harder than anyone.
One word is consistent in almost all of the posts on this string: Recruiting. Tad is failing to get impactful players that can elevate a program. I think that is apparent to potential recruits. Having a top 50 player commit would have been huge, the fallout of losing an in-state player (potentially to a league rival) is immense. Since Josh Scott and Xavier Johnson came to Boulder, Collier is the only other elite recruit on the roster.
We are not an elite basketball school, stop acting like we are.

Hey, I admitted I'm butt hurt and bitter. With butt hurtedness and bitterness come irrational and bitter comments. :lol:I'm sorry, but that's BS. Big slap in the face to not put your home state on the list? He has no reason to do that. If he's not interested, he's not interested. I'm not going to hate on the kid because he thinks he has better options elsewhere.
Why can we not become an elite school?
