Other games weekend of Oct 8-10

I'm pissed at myself for watching the Buffs instead of this Cal-Utah game tonight. Hopefully ESPN will have a replay if I stay up late.

Amazing what an elite QB can do for a program. Remember when we beat Cal a couple years ago?

I know we all know that, but there isn't a bigger equalizer in sports than a great to elite QB. No matter if we're talking college or pros.

No doubt - but in college it is so pronounced. You see so many teams who get that elite QB, and boom, they're off to the races for 3 or 4 years

A running QB is what we need on the team given the pathetic state of the OL. Doesn't even have to be a world beater.

Utah barely escaped a determined Cal team. If the offense doesn't get it together, we're going to struggle every game. The bye didn't appear to help at all. The opposite actually.

Unless it's absolutely blatant I've got no issue with the refs swallowing their whistle on game deciding downs. Let them play.

I usually feel the same way, but although that doesn't look like much, he doesn't make that play if he doesn't grab him.

Plenty of games today that were in question much later than I thought, with a few outcome surprises. SEC and Pac-12 still seem to be anyone's game but in the west it at least appears it's Utah's regular season title to lose.

Seat cooling:
Butch Jones
Charlie Strong

Seat heating up:
Al Golden
Mark Helfrich
Mike MacIntyre
Sark
Bob Stoops

Mike London's seat is actually a bonfire but for some sick reason they won't let him off it.

I'm very happy to be livin' rent free in your head, continue with your obsession p*ssy. You're not butthurt at all.
That post wasn't about you.

There's a really insecure Washington fan named "Devildawg" that posts over here sometimes.

Sorry for any confusion.

Well our moral victory against Oregon took a hit last night with the Ducks losing at home to the WSU Cougs.

Wasted a golden opportunity last week, but far too many fans were just happy to keep it somewhat close.

UU being 6-0 Cal being 5-1 and WSU beating UO are not things that are helping the perception of MacIntyre.

7 more games to show me something.
